GINEBRA GIN MARE

This is the first gin with a true Mediterranean soul.

Description

Spain has never been a country noted for its great alcoholic beverages.

Our gins are not bad at all, but they have not attained the recognized status of the English gin or those made in other countries. We did not have our own vodka or rum either.

However, perhaps because Gin is “in” nowadays, it is logical that a company would decide to produce a top quality gin. And this has been the case.

The Giró firm together with Global Premium Brands embarked on the adventure of elaborating one of the best gins in the world and it has done so, relying on the new pan-Mediterranean concept.

With the best natural resources, the most appropriate stills and after conducting hundreds of tests in order to find the best alcoholic beverages in the Mediterranean region, they have obtained Gin Mare, a gin with the aroma of rosemary, Arbequina olive, thyme and basil: the pure Mediterranean Sea.

The bottle, as is to be expected, has its own beautiful design, which allows it to compete with the leading brand names from all over the world.

Instruction manual

1.  It should be kept cold.

2.  Use it to prepare your favourite cocktail.

3.  If you want a Gin Tonic, Gin Mare combines perfectly with all the tonics on the market, in order to achieve the perfect cocktail.

4.   Do not drink any alcohol on any empty stomach.

Recommendations for the accompanying beverages/food

Gin does not go especially well with any particular food, but it is perfect for making cocktails. The most classic cocktails are the Dry Martini or the Gin Tonic.

The Dry Martini (a mixture of gin and vermouth) is an ideal aperitif, either accompanied by dried fruits or by tinned food like those offered by Frinsa.

The Gin Tonic can also be enjoyed during the aperitif or at the end of the meal.

Nutritional value

It is a distilled alcoholic beverage which is characterized by its high alcoholic content (42.7% vol). In its elaboration, certain ingredients are involved like the Arbequina olive, thyme, basil and rosemary, food which forms a part of the Mediterranean diet pattern, and they are responsible for the aroma of the beverage. Only occasional and moderate consumption is recommended due to its high alcoholic content.
