VICHY CATALÁN 1881

This is a bottle of mineral water legendary throughout the world, superior to the French version, and without a doubt the best in Catalonia.

Description

Nowadays, restaurants no longer offer you just plain tap water or mineral water, or within the category of mineral water, “with or without gas”. There are establishments which offer you up to 20 or 30 different mineral waters, some of which may reach exorbitant prices.

However, in any event, among the mineral waters with gas, one of the best in the world is a Spanish one, the Vichy Catalán. Its small bubbles make it very pleasant to drink and it is the best water for improving digestion, due to its anti-acid effects and its mineral content.

It comes from the Vichy Catalán health spa.

Instruction manual
  1. It can be kept at room temperature or served cold.
  2. Serve in a wine a glass or fine crystal goblets.
Recommendations for the accompanying beverages/food

It is one of most popular mineral waters. It has a strong and marked saline content and a strong body, as do the bubbles, which are quite neutral and have a good passage on the palate. It is a delicious mineral water and ideal for not very acidic dishes, for they compensate and balance them (gazpachos, salmorejos, etc., or with fish like the Chilean "puire" with a strong algae aroma), which the Vichy water compensates for and accompanies very well. It is also recommended for all those dishes which do not go well with wine: like the dishes which contain vinegar or acids, and some especially bitter ones, like artichokes and, at times, asparagus.

It is also ideal to have, for example, with a whisky or other alcoholic beverages.
