This is probably the best rosé wine which can be found on the market, 100% Merlot, with an incomparable quality-price ratio.
Rosé has a bad reputation because at times it has been made by mixing red and white wine, which produced not very convincing results. Rosé is simply a lighter coloured red wine, with less intensity and less tannins.
The wine cellars stopped producing rosé wines and concentrated more on red and white wines with or without oak.
Torelló has managed to enhance, with its Petjades, the maximum level of quality of its rosés. Its interest in this wine reflects the use of the Merlot grape from its Can Martí vineyards. The best Burgundy red wines are elaborated with this grape.
The Guarantee of Origin is Penedés and it is a wine which is fermented in stainless steel barrels.
1. The Petjades rosé must be kept at a temperature of 14ºC and with a controlled humidity.
2. The ideal temperature for drinking this wine is around the 14 to16ºC, which is a little cooler than the red.
3. In the event that the wine is at room temperature, it would be advisable to cool it in an ice bucket containing ice for approximately 10 minutes.
4. This wine can be drunk by glasses of white or red wine glasses. Both due to the colour as well as the aroma and the flavour, it deserves a quality crystal glass.
The Petjades GOES WELL WITH EVERYTHING.
This wine has the special advantage of its versatility, that is, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif accompanying seafood, fish and even simple meat dishes, from the veal to the Cornish hens.

Wine is one of the traditional foods within the Mediterranean diet plan.
In addition to the water, alcohol, sugars and organic acids, it contains small amounts of minerals and vitamins of the B group. It also contains different polyphenols which furnish its anti-oxidant actions.
Its caloric value comes from the alcohol and the sugars which it contains and its moderate consumption in healthy adults – who are not pregnant – can help to prevent degenerative diseases such as cardio-vascular ones and certain types of cancer.
