It is an exceptional cava, Chardonnay, Xarello and Parellada, which is enhanced with the original touch of several months in an oak barrel.
Sumarroca is a prestigious wine cellar, which is famous for its magnificent cavas.
Regardless of all the other products, some of maximum quality, it has managed to place on the market what is probably the most unique and interesting white cava: the Gran Brut Allier.
Made with Xarel-lo and Parellada, this cava also contains 40% Chardonnay, the grape with which the best Champagne is elaborated. In addition, it is produced in accordance with the Champenoise method and so, the result is indeed extraordinary.
In addition to its exceptional uniqueness, what justifies the fact that it bears the Elite Gourmet Seal of Quality is that the wine spends a certain amount of timein oak barrels, which does not only give it its special flavour and range, but it also allows for its improved conservation.
1. It should be kept at a wine cellar temperature (12 to14ºC).
2. The ideal temperature for drinking this wine is between 6 to 8ºC.
3. Put the bottle in an ice bucket with a lot of ice and water for approximately 15 minutes before serving in order to make sure it is cold. Do not put it in the refrigerator.
4. Serve in Cava or Champagne glasses, intended for white wine. These glasses are long and wider at the base than at the mouth, in order to allow for the concentration of the bubbles, but allow them to lose their aggressiveness when they reach the mouth.
5. Put small amounts in the glass, so that the cava is not exposed to heat and does not warm up. It is preferable to refill the glass many times.
6. It can be served with any type of food, except red meats.
The Gran Brut Allier cava has an intense and unique aroma, and a structure which furnishes it with a persistent after taste in the mouth. It is ideal for accompanying all kinds of aperitifs, mojamas (cured tuna loin), salted fish, baked fish, elaborate fish recipes and even white meats.
At Elite Gourmet, we like to combine it with the Caviar Per Sé.

Its alcoholic and sugar content will basically determine its caloric value which will be around 87 kcal for each 100 ml. We wish to remind you that each gram of alcohol furnishes the body with 7 kcal.
Water is its main component, but it also contains various other components in very small amounts of nutritional interest, such as the organic acids, vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.
Its moderate consumption reduces the risk of suffering from cardio-vascular diseases. Modern consumption is considered to be between 10 and 30 g of alcohol per day. Due to the fact that women metabolize alcohol more slowly than men, and that their corporal volume is less, the limit of the moderate consumption is 20 g per day.
